About
Two yacht brokers bringing brokerage, operations, charter and commercial judgment into the same conversation.
Start a conversationGala Tressler has spent 10 years helping clients buy and sell yachts, with experience that reaches beyond the transaction into operations, charter and the realities of ownership.
She knows that the quality of a decision is often found in the details others treat as secondary: how a yacht moves, how its spaces work, what its systems demand and whether it suits the life intended for it.
Her approach is equally commercial and analytical. Gala earned an MBA with a focus on finance and accounting from Texas A&M, studied media and marketing at Emerson College and law at Northeastern University. Before Yacht & Shore, she built and managed a complex multistate business involving commodities, finance, operations and negotiation. That background now informs how she positions a yacht, examines a transaction and manages a complicated process.
Based in Miami and fluent in English and Spanish, Gala also works at the intersection of yacht ownership, waterfront property and smart technology on land and at sea.
Valerie Gonzalez grew up boating in Miami, with South Florida, the Keys and the Bahamas forming part of her life from an early age. Boating was not an occasional pastime in her family. It was part of how they lived.
That background gives Valerie a practical understanding of how clients intend to use a boat or yacht and what determines whether the experience works once they are aboard. She pays attention to the people, service and logistics around the vessel because those details shape time on the water as much as the itinerary itself.
After earning her degree in Biology from the University of Florida, Valerie built experience in South Florida’s market for short term rentals and developed a yacht event planning and concierge business. She has managed intimate outings, birthdays, celebrations and multiday yacht experiences, coordinating private chefs, catering, bartenders, DJs, décor, florals, entertainment and the many details required to execute each charter properly.
Working closely with yachts, owners, crews and guests made brokerage a direct extension of her experience. Valerie brings that understanding to both sides of a transaction: helping buyers recognize which yacht suits the way they intend to use it and helping sellers present a vessel with a clear understanding of what clients notice and expect.
A Miami native and fluent in English and Spanish, Valerie works with both local and international clients. She remains actively involved in yacht event planning and concierge services, bringing firsthand knowledge of charter and onboard hospitality to her work at Yacht & Shore.
Our Point of View
The listing shows the yacht. The work is understanding everything the listing cannot.
